These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AI SFX Lab, including our AI sound effect generator, website, account features, subscriptions, credits, downloads, and related services.
By using AI SFX Lab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, Commercial Use Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy.
1. The Service
AI SFX Lab provides tools that allow users to generate, preview, organize, and, depending on plan access, download AI-generated sound effects from text prompts and related settings.
The service may include features such as:
- Text-to-sound effect generation
- Prompt enhancement
- Duration and variation settings
- Seamless loop options
- Advanced sound controls
- Online audio preview
- Sound library and generation history
- Uploaded audio organization
- Paid downloads in supported formats
- Commercial use rights on paid plans
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use AI SFX Lab.
If you use AI SFX Lab on behalf of a company, team, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
AI SFX Lab is not intended for children. You may not use the service if you are under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental or guardian consent.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
4. Prompts, Uploads, and User Content
You may submit prompts, settings, uploaded audio, references, and other materials to use the service.
You retain any rights you have in your own prompts, uploads, and source materials.
By submitting content to AI SFX Lab, you grant us the rights necessary to process, store, transmit, display, and use that content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to use any prompts, uploads, references, or source materials you submit.
You may not submit content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy or third-party rights.
5. AI-Generated Outputs
AI-generated sound effects may vary from one generation to another.
We do not guarantee that any output will be:
- Exactly what you intended
- Unique or exclusive
- Error-free
- Suitable for every use case
- Free from all third-party claims
- Legally protectable
- Available indefinitely
You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, publishing, distributing, or commercializing them.
For commercial use, you must follow our Commercial Use Terms.
6. Free Plans
Free users may receive limited monthly credits or other limited access to the service.
Free plan access may include online previews, shorter generations, limited usage, and other restrictions.
Unless otherwise stated, Free plan outputs are for testing, previewing, and non-commercial use only.
We may change Free plan limits at any time.
7. Paid Plans and Subscriptions
Paid plans may include larger credit limits, longer generations, downloads, commercial use rights, saved history, priority features, and other benefits depending on the selected plan.
Plan details, credit amounts, billing intervals, and included features are displayed on the Pricing page or checkout page.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge you for the selected plan and billing interval.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the next renewal date.
8. Credits
Credits are used to access generation and related features.
Credit usage may depend on factors such as:
- Sound duration
- Number of variations
- Number of prompt lines
- Feature settings
- Plan limits
Monthly credits are issued according to your plan and billing cycle.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
Credits have no cash value, are not a bank account, are not stored monetary value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
We may adjust credits when necessary to correct technical errors, failed generations, billing issues, abuse, or account problems.
9. Downloads
Paid users may download generated sound effects in supported formats when included in their plan.
Supported formats may include WAV, MP3, FLAC, or other formats made available through the service.
You are responsible for storing your downloaded files.
We do not guarantee that generated files, previews, or history will remain available forever.
10. Commercial Use
Commercial use is available only on paid plans and is subject to our Commercial Use Terms.
Free plan outputs are for testing, previewing, and non-commercial use only unless we clearly state otherwise.
You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts, uploads, outputs, and final projects comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
11. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers such as Creem.
We do not store full payment card details in this application.
Payment processing, taxes, invoices, billing details, and payment methods may be handled by the payment provider.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for keeping your payment method up to date.
Prices may change in the future. If prices change, we will apply the change according to applicable law and the terms shown at checkout or in your billing portal.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription according to the available account, checkout, billing portal, or support process.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
Unless otherwise stated, your paid access remains active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
13. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
Because AI-generated audio, digital credits, and downloadable files are digital products, payments are generally non-refundable once credits, downloads, or paid features have been used.
If a generation fails because of a system error, reserved credits may be returned automatically when possible. Credit refunds are separate from cash refunds.
14. Acceptable Use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
You may not use AI SFX Lab for illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, rights-infringing, or policy-violating purposes. This includes NSFW, explicit, or sexually suggestive content, as further described in our Acceptable Use Policy.
We may refuse generation requests, restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts if we believe these Terms or our policies have been violated.
15. Service Availability
AI SFX Lab may depend on third-party infrastructure, AI model providers, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and other service providers.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent access to any feature, generated file, account history, or stored content.
We may limit, suspend, or modify the service for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
16. No Professional Advice
AI SFX Lab provides creative tools and general product information.
We do not provide legal, financial, licensing, copyright, or professional advice.
You are responsible for evaluating whether generated outputs are suitable for your intended use.
17. Intellectual Property
AI SFX Lab, including the website, interface, branding, software, design, content, and service structure, is owned by AI SFX Lab or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or exploit the service except as allowed by these Terms.
18. Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
We may review, prioritize, or implement feedback at our discretion.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to AI SFX Lab if:
- You violate these Terms
- You violate the Acceptable Use Policy
- You misuse the service
- You fail to pay required fees
- Your use creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk
- We are required to do so by law or third-party provider requirements
Termination may result in loss of access to your account, credits, generated content, downloads, and history.
20. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that the service or outputs will meet your expectations or be suitable for any particular project.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI SFX Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to AI SFX Lab for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we update the Terms, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date.
Your continued use of AI SFX Lab after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
