Commercial Use Terms

These Commercial Use Terms explain how sound effects generated or downloaded through AI SFX Lab may be used in personal and commercial projects.

These terms apply together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Commercial Use on Paid Plans

Commercial use is available on paid plans.

If you have an active paid plan, you may use downloaded sound effects generated through AI SFX Lab in your own creative and commercial projects, including:

Videos, films, shorts, and social media content
YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and other creator content
Games, game prototypes, trailers, and interactive media
Podcasts, livestreams, intros, transitions, and stingers
Ads, product videos, brand campaigns, and marketing content
Client projects, freelance work, and production workflows
Foley, ambience, UI sounds, motion graphics, and sound design projects

Your commercial use rights apply only to sound effects generated or downloaded while you are using a paid plan, subject to these terms and applicable laws.

Free Plan Outputs

Free plan outputs are for testing, previewing, and non-commercial use only.

Free users may preview generated audio online, but commercial use and downloadable file formats such as WAV, MP3, and FLAC require a paid plan.

You may not use Free plan outputs in commercial videos, paid client projects, games, ads, monetized content, or other commercial work unless you upgrade to a paid plan and comply with these Commercial Use Terms.

Downloads and Usage Rights

Paid users may download generated sound effects in supported formats, depending on the features included in their plan.

You may edit, combine, mix, transform, or synchronize downloaded sound effects with your own videos, games, podcasts, ads, music, voiceovers, or other creative projects.

You do not need to credit AI SFX Lab unless you want to.

Important Limitations

Commercial use does not mean that a generated output is guaranteed to be exclusive, copyright-free in every jurisdiction, or free from all third-party claims.

AI-generated results may be similar to outputs generated for other users, especially when prompts are generic or common.

AI SFX Lab does not guarantee that any generated sound effect is unique, legally protectable, or suitable for every commercial use case.

You are responsible for reviewing your prompts, uploaded materials, generated outputs, and final projects before using them publicly or commercially.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for making sure that your use of AI SFX Lab does not infringe or violate any third-party rights, including:

Copyright
Trademark
Publicity rights
Privacy rights
Contractual rights
Rights related to uploaded audio, references, samples, or source materials
Rights related to protected brands, characters, franchises, or recognizable media

You should not use AI SFX Lab to create or imitate protected sound effects, copyrighted audio, recognizable brand sounds, fictional characters, celebrity voices, real people, or third-party intellectual property unless you have the necessary rights or permissions.

Uploaded Audio and Source Materials

If you upload audio, references, prompts, or other source materials, you confirm that you own them, have permission to use them, or are otherwise legally allowed to process them through AI SFX Lab.

You are responsible for any uploaded materials and for how generated results are used.

Prohibited Commercial Uses

You may not use AI SFX Lab outputs for:

Illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activities
Harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination
Misleading emergency alarms, sirens, warnings, or public safety sounds
Fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive media
Unauthorized imitation of a real person, protected character, brand, or copyrighted work
Any use that violates our Acceptable Use Policy
