This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using AI SFX Lab.

By using AI SFX Lab, you agree to follow this policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Commercial Use Terms, and Refund Policy.

Our Goal

AI SFX Lab is designed to help creators generate useful sound effects for videos, games, podcasts, ads, Foley work, and creative projects.

You may not use AI SFX Lab to create, upload, distribute, or promote harmful, illegal, deceptive, abusive, or rights-infringing content.

Illegal or Harmful Activities

You may not use AI SFX Lab for activities that are illegal, harmful, or unsafe, including:

  • Creating content that supports or encourages criminal activity
  • Promoting violence, terrorism, extremism, or physical harm
  • Creating threatening, abusive, or harassing audio
  • Producing deceptive audio for scams, fraud, phishing, or social engineering
  • Using the service to evade law enforcement, safety systems, or platform rules

You may not use AI SFX Lab to infringe or misappropriate third-party rights.

This includes generating, uploading, or using content that imitates, copies, or is based on protected materials without permission, including:

  • Copyrighted sound effects, music, samples, or recordings
  • Recognizable brand sounds, logos, mascots, or product identities
  • Protected characters, franchises, games, films, shows, or media properties
  • Celebrity voices, real-person voices, or identifiable personal attributes
  • Audio references or uploaded materials that you do not have the right to use

You are responsible for ensuring that your prompts, uploads, generated outputs, and final use comply with applicable law and third-party rights.

Uploaded Audio and Source Materials

You may only upload audio, prompts, references, or source materials that you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to process through AI SFX Lab.

You may not upload:

  • Stolen, pirated, or unauthorized audio
  • Copyrighted samples or recordings you do not have rights to use
  • Private recordings without consent
  • Sensitive, confidential, or illegally obtained materials
  • Audio intended to impersonate or harm another person

Impersonation and Deceptive Audio

You may not use AI SFX Lab to deceive people about the origin, identity, or purpose of audio content.

You may not create audio intended to:

  • Impersonate a real person without permission
  • Mislead others into believing an event is real when it is not
  • Create fake evidence, fake warnings, fake emergencies, or deceptive media
  • Misrepresent affiliation with a brand, organization, government, creator, or public figure

Emergency and Alarm Sounds

You may not use AI SFX Lab to create misleading emergency, alarm, or public safety sounds.

This includes deceptive or harmful use of:

  • Police sirens
  • Ambulance or fire alarms
  • Evacuation alerts
  • Emergency broadcast tones
  • Security alarms
  • Medical alarms
  • Disaster warnings
  • Public safety instructions

You may create fictional, non-deceptive alarm-like sounds for games, films, or creative projects only when they are clearly used in a legitimate creative context and are not intended to mislead the public.

Harassment, Hate, and Abuse

You may not use AI SFX Lab to create content that promotes or supports:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Hate or discrimination against protected groups
  • Dehumanizing or abusive content
  • Targeted attacks against individuals or groups

Sexual, Exploitative, or Non-Consensual Content

You may not use AI SFX Lab to create, upload, or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Child sexual exploitation or abuse material
  • Non-consensual sexual or intimate audio
  • Content designed to harass, exploit, shame, or abuse another person
  • Audio connected to sexual coercion, blackmail, or non-consensual distribution
  • NSFW, explicit, or sexually suggestive audio content

Fraud, Scams, and Manipulation

You may not use AI SFX Lab to create sounds for:

  • Fraudulent advertisements
  • Fake product claims
  • Scam campaigns
  • Phishing or impersonation schemes
  • Manipulative political deception
  • Fake emergency situations
  • False evidence or misleading media

Attempts to Bypass Safety Systems

You may not attempt to bypass, disable, manipulate, or abuse any safety, moderation, rate limit, credit, payment, or account protection system.

This includes using alternate accounts, automated abuse, prompt manipulation, or technical workarounds to violate these policies.

Service Abuse

You may not:

  • Interfere with the operation of AI SFX Lab
  • Scrape, overload, or attack the service
  • Reverse engineer protected parts of the service
  • Use automated systems in a way that harms platform stability
  • Resell access without permission
  • Share accounts in a way that violates plan limits

Enforcement

If we believe that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may take action, including:

  • Removing or restricting content
  • Refusing generation requests
  • Suspending or terminating your account
  • Limiting access to paid or free features
  • Canceling subscriptions where appropriate
  • Reporting illegal activity when required by law

We may enforce this policy at our discretion to protect users, third parties, and the service.
