This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, credits, and failed generations are handled for AI SFX Lab.

This policy applies to paid subscriptions, digital credits, AI-generated audio, downloads, and related paid features.

It applies together with our Terms of Service, Commercial Use Terms, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Digital Product Notice

AI SFX Lab provides digital services, digital credits, AI-generated audio, and downloadable files.

Because AI-generated audio, digital credits, downloads, and paid access are digital products, payments are generally non-refundable once credits, downloads, or paid features have been used.

Please review the plan details, credit limits, commercial use rules, and feature availability before purchasing.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription according to the available account, checkout, billing portal, or support process.

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Unless otherwise stated, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

After the paid period ends, your account may return to the Free plan or another available plan level.

3. Refund Request Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original payment.

Refund requests submitted after 7 days are generally not eligible, unless required by applicable law or approved at our discretion.

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The payment email address, if different
  • The plan purchased
  • The payment date
  • The reason for the request
  • Any relevant screenshots or error details

4. When Refunds May Be Considered

We may consider refund requests in cases such as:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Accidental duplicate purchases
  • Payment processing errors
  • A major technical issue that prevents access to paid features
  • A billing issue caused by our system or payment provider
  • Other cases required by applicable law

Approval is not guaranteed and depends on the payment record, account status, plan usage, technical logs, and applicable law.

5. When Refunds Are Generally Not Available

Refunds are generally not available if:

  • You have used credits after purchase
  • You have generated sound effects after purchase
  • You have downloaded audio files
  • You have used paid plan features
  • You forgot to cancel before renewal
  • You no longer need the service
  • You are dissatisfied with AI output variations after using the service
  • Your prompt did not produce the exact sound you imagined
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for policy violations
  • You purchased the wrong plan but used paid credits or features
  • The refund request is submitted after the refund window

AI-generated results can vary. Variation in output quality, style, or exact match to your expectation is not by itself a guaranteed reason for a cash refund after credits or paid features have been used.

6. Failed Generations and Credit Returns

If a generation fails because of a system error, reserved credits will be returned automatically when possible.

Credit returns are separate from cash refunds.

A credit return does not mean the original payment will be refunded.

If you believe credits were incorrectly charged because of a technical issue, contact us and include the account email, approximate time, prompt details, and any error messages.

7. Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the next renewal date.

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new billing period begins, especially if credits or paid features have been used.

If you do not want your subscription to renew, cancel it before the renewal date shown in your account, checkout, billing portal, or payment confirmation.

8. Annual Plans

Annual plans provide access for the annual billing period and may include discounted pricing compared with monthly plans.

Annual plan payments are generally non-refundable once credits, downloads, or paid features have been used.

If a refund is approved for an annual plan, we may consider plan usage, credits used, downloads, fees, taxes, payment processor rules, and applicable law.

9. Plan Changes

If you upgrade, downgrade, or switch plans, the applicable plan change rules shown in the product, checkout, billing portal, or account area will apply.

Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing period depending on the product logic.

Unused credits, plan benefits, and billing differences may not be refundable unless clearly stated.

10. Taxes and Payment Processor Fees

Taxes, payment processor fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees, and third-party charges may be non-refundable depending on the payment provider, payment method, and applicable law.

Refunds, when approved, may be returned through the original payment method where possible.

Processing times depend on the payment provider and your bank or payment method.

11. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, your account access may be paused while the dispute is reviewed.

We may provide transaction records, usage logs, account activity, and policy information to the payment provider as part of the dispute process.

12. Abuse and Policy Violations

Refunds are not available for accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Commercial Use Terms, or applicable law.

We may also refuse refunds where we detect fraud, abuse, repeated refund misuse, or attempts to exploit the credit or payment system.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.

14. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of AI SFX Lab after changes are posted means you accept the updated Refund Policy.
